SUMMARY:San Diego State Women's Basketball Game
DESCRIPTION:Join us to cheer on the San Diego State University Women’s Basketball team for a fun\, educational\, and high-energy experience on campus. \nThis special event is presented by SeaWorld\, which will be hosting interactive STEM-focused activities on the arena concourse before the game. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about sea life\, explore fascinating marine artifacts\, and engage with hands-on educational displays. These activities are optional but highly encouraged for students and families who arrive early and would like to explore before tip-off. \nDuring the event\, concessions will be available for purchase\, including hot dogs\, nachos\, chips\, and sweet treats. SDSU merchandise will also be available for sale for those looking to show their Aztec pride. DESCRIPTION:Led by trained Mission guides and volunteer docents\, these special tours take students on a journey through Mission history while they visit the Ruins\, Serra Chapel\, original buildings\, and gardens.  \nMission Matters: Adobe Brick Making Class – Join us as we explore life at the Mission in this hands-on program where students use their hands to dive into the past and learn about the jobs that the original Acjachemen builders did\, including building the Mission with adobe bricks. Students gain a greater appreciation of the Indigenous people’s contributions in building the missions. In this experience\, students also learn about precious resources while being instructed to make their own Adobe brick.   \nWednesday\, October 22nd | 10 am – 12:30 pm  \nCost: $21 per student with learning funds.
